In a mixing bowl, place a sieve on top and add all the dry ingredients (flour, baking powder, sugar, cinnamon, allspice and salt). Mix well.
Add the coconut oil and eggs to the bowl.
Grate the apples with a box grater and add the grated apples to the batter. Mix thoroughly.
Line a loaf pan with baking paper or grease with coconut oil. Pour the batter into the pan and spread it evenly with a spatula.
Cut an apple in half, remove the seeds and slice it as thin as possible. Arrange the apple slices on top of the batter, sprinkle with a bit of cinnamon and add blanched almonds.
Bake for 65 to 70 minutes at 175°C (350°F).
Let the cake cool for a few minutes before slicing into pieces of 2.5 cm (1 inch).
