Instructions
Rinse the almonds with water. Add the washed almonds to a bowl, cover with water and let soak for 4-5 hours.
Discard the soaking water, rinse the almonds, and transfer them to a large mixing bowl.
Add the dates, vanilla extract, salt, and fresh water. Blend until smooth.
In another large mixing bowl, place a cheesecloth or clean dish towel. Pour in the almond mixture. Gather the edges and twist to strain the milk.
Transfer the almond milk to a glass bottle.
