280gramspuff pastry dough
1egg
TOPPING 1
parmesan cheese
mixed pepper

Instructions
Preheat oven to 175°C (350°F).
Roll out your pastry dough. Use a knife or pastry wheel to cut strips that are 15 cm by 3.5 cm (6 by 1.5 inches).
Line a baking tray with parchment paper. Place the pastry strips on the tray. Twist the strips a few times, it makes it easier to hold the end while twisting.
Beat an egg. Use a food brush to coat the pastry twists with egg wash, apply light pressure while brushing.
Add your preferred topping.
Bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown. Let cool for a few minutes.
Notes
Serve with a soup or with a glass of your favourite drink.
