Ingredients
4tomatoes
1ciabatta breador french baguette*
2garlic
olive oil
sea salt flakes
mixed pepper
Instructions
Cut the bread lengthwise with a bread knife, then slice the halves into pieces about 7 cm (3 inches) wide.
Grate the tomatoes by cutting off the tops and pressing the flesh against the grater.
Peel the garlic and cut it in half.
Toast the bread.
Once toasted, rub the garlic over the warm bread.
Drizzle a bit of olive oil on top of the bread.
Use a tablespoon to add the grated tomatoes, then top with pepper and salt flakes.
Notes
*Use any crusty bread you like.This is a simple Pan con Tomato recipe. You can upgrade the dish by adding slices of cheese, green olives, and/or tuna for extra flavour.
