Equipment

  • frying pan
  • Deep plate or bowl
  • Whisk or fork

Ingredients
 

  • 2 slices bread

Egg Mixture

  • 60 ml milk
  • 3 eggs
  • a little bit of cinnamon
  • a bit of salt & pepper
  • 1 tbsp butter

Topping

  • 1 tbsp honey or use maple syrup
  • a bit of icing sugar
  • kiwi, necatrine, blueberries
  • 1/2 lime

Instructions

  • Beat the eggs in a bowl by using a whisk or fork
  • Add milk, cinnamon, salt and pepper to the bowl and mix
  • Place a slice of bread into the mixture, allowing each side to soak for at least 20 to 30 seconds. Use a spatula or your fingers to flip the bread, being careful to avoid tearing it.
  • Use a frying pan and melt butter over high heat. Add the slice of bread and fry until both sides are golden brown.
  • Clean and cut the fruits, then add lime juice.
  • Cut the toast diagonally and serve with fruits, icing sugar and a little bit of honey or butter
