Homemade Almond Milk
Almond Milk with Dates and Vanilla

Equipment
- cheese cloth or clean dish towel
- blender
- Mixing bowl
Ingredients
- 100 grams almonds unsalted
- 2 dates
- ¼ tsp vanilla extract
- ⅛ tsp salt
- 0.5 liter water for soaking
- 1 liter water for blending
Instructions
- Rinse the almonds with water. Add the washed almonds to a bowl, cover with water and let soak for 4-5 hours.
- Discard the soaking water, rinse the almonds, and transfer them to a large mixing bowl.
- Add the dates, vanilla extract, salt, and fresh water. Blend until smooth.
- In another large mixing bowl, place a cheesecloth or clean dish towel. Pour in the almond mixture. Gather the edges and twist to strain the milk.
- Transfer the almond milk to a glass bottle.
