Healthy Energy Balls
Bliss Balls with Dates, Cashew Nuts and Lime Zest

Ingredients
BLISS BALLS
- 175 grams dates
- 115 grams cashew nuts
- 1 lime
- 1 tbsp coconut oil
- 1 tbsp coconut flakes (1)
- a pinch salt
TOPPING
- 2 tbsp coconut flakes (2)
- 2 tbsp cacao powder
Instructions
- Add the dates to a bowl. Cover with water and let soak for 30 minutes.
- Add cashew nuts to a blender. Blend.
- Add soaked dates and coconut oil. Add lime zest and juice the lime.
- Add coconut flakes (1) and salt. Blend all ingredients. Optional: add cacao powder.
- Add coconut flakes (2) to a plate or small bowl.
- Roll the balls: take a bit of the date mixture and roll between your palms. Size should be as big as a ping pong ball.
- Roll the ball through the coconut flakes and place on a plate. Keep in the fridge for one hour before serving.
Notes
You can store the bliss balls in the fridge for a few days or in the freezer for a few weeks.
