Hot Aperol

Hello liebe Freunden. It a big thing here in Germany to drink mulled wine in the winter, you can get it at every Christmas market. But let me introduce you to something else: Hot Aperol. It’s a twist on the traditional Glühwein and a must try if you are into Aperol Spritz.

For this recipe I’m using, surprise surprise, Aperol! I mixed the Italian liquor with white wine and a couple of spices to add some winter flavours. I used a cheap Pinot Grigio wine for this mix, but any dry white wine will work. It’s important to gently heat everything without boiling, so the Aperol keeps its flavour (and alcohol!) while the spices infuse the drink.

Stay warm and cozy with this Glüh Aperol! If you like hot drinks like this, check out my traditional German Glühwein recipe, or try my alcohol free Mexican Ponche Navideño. I also made an alcohol free Glühwein recipe for anyone who is not into alcohol.

This Hot Aperol recipe contains alcohol, so please don’t consume it if you are legally not allowed. Cheers!
