Easy Coconut Macaroons

Equipment
- Mixing bowl
- oven + baking tray
- baking paper
- whisk or mixing machine
Ingredients
- 200 grams shredded coconut
- 3 eggs
- 100 grams sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- ¼ tsp salt
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 160°C (320°F).
- In a mixing bowl, combine the shredded coconut, sugar, vanilla extract and salt.
- Separate the eggs in a small bowl, keeping the egg whites. Add the egg whites to the coconut mixture and mix.
- Line a baking tray with baking paper.
- Use a cookie scoop or tablespoon to form balls and place them on the tray.
- Bake in the oven for 20-25 minutes until the macaroons are golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and let them cool down.
Notes
Optional:
Melt chocolate and dip the coconut macaroons in it. Place them on baking paper and let them cool in the fridge for about 30 minutes.
