Equipment

  • oven tray + parchment paper
  • Mixing bowl

Ingredients
 

  • 30 grams flour
  • 65 grams brown sugar
  • 30 grams butter softened
  • 30 grams chopped almonds blanched
  • ¼ tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp water
  • a pinch salt

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 175°C (350°F).
  • In a mixing bowl, combine flour, brown sugar, cinnamon and salt. Mix with a fork.
  • Chop the almonds and add to the bowl. Add butter and water. Mix again.
  • Line an oven tray with parchment paper.
  • Use a tablespoon or cookie scooper to form small balls. Place the balls on the tray, leaving space between them.
  • Bake in the oven for 8-10 minutes at 175°C (350°F). Remove from the oven when the edges of the cookies start to brown.
  • Cool down for at least 5 minutes before serving.
