Easy Tuna Spread without Mayonnaise

Equipment

  • Mixing bowl

Ingredients
 

  • 2 tuna small cans (with oil)
  • 1 red onion
  • 2 tbsp capers
  • ½ tsp mustard
  • 3 tbsp skyr or yogurt
  • a bit curry powder
  • a bit salt & pepper
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice

Instructions

  • Carefully open the cans of tuna, drain excess oil and transfer to a bowl.
  • Chop the red onion as fine as possible and add it to the bowl.
  • Add skyr, mustard, lemon juice and curry powder.
  • Chop the capers and add them to the bowl. Season with salt and pepper. Use a fork to mix all ingredients.

Notes

Serve on sourdough toast with slices of cucumber or a boiled egg.
