Buongiorno a tutti! This homemade basil lemonade is like Italy in a glass, a summer treat you need to try if you are looking for a refreshing drink. You only need 5 ingredients to make this easy peasy lemonade, and I am sure you can make it! I make this lemonade with fresh lemons.
To make this recipe you will need fresh basil. I would advise not using dried basil from a spice jar, as it does not provide the same intense flavour as fresh basil.
Serve this lemonade over ice to make sure it is perfectly chilled. Add a sprig of basil, a slice of lemon and a straw for garnish. I hope you like this recipe as much as I do! If you enjoy this recipe, have a look at my rosemary lemonade recipe as well.
