Homemade Pesto with Pine Nuts and Parmesan Cheese

Ingredients
- 85 leaves basil 1/2 store bought plant
- 60 grams parmesan cheese
- 50 grams pine nuts
- 1 clove garlic
- 5 tbsp olive oil
- a littlle bit salt
- a little bit pepper
Instructions
- Grate the cheese. Or -in case you have a strong blender- chop the cheese in chunks and add to a blender.
- Add basil leaves, garlic and pine nuts to the blender. Blend.
- Add salt, pepper and olive oil. Blend until smooth
Notes
Serving tip: serve the pesto with ciabatta. Cut the ciabatta, toast the bread, add pesto and add a few slices of mozzarella. Top with a bit of salt and pepper and a dash of olive oil.
